About Us

The Rockbridge County High School Parent Teacher Student Association is an organization that brings parents, students, and educators together to work towards improving the lives and education of students at Rockbridge County High School in Lexington, VA.

The RCHS PTSA provides parents, students, and teachers with a way to share their experience and knowledge about students. Our members support public education and work to improve our children’s health and safety, whether that means fundraising for school supplies, educating parents, helping teachers, or fighting for legislation to ensure every student gets a high-quality education.

RCHS PTSA works independently promoting the welfare of children enrolled at RCHS. The PTSA works together with principals, school boards and other community leaders to make sure member concerns are heard and needs are met.

Annually, the RCHS PTSA organizes and funds several initiatives including:

  • Wildcat Teacher Inspiration Awards
  • PTSA Student Award
  • Hospitality for RCHS faculty and staff
  • After Prom Party
  • Teacher Wish Lists

We have one big fundraiser in the Spring, Ford Drive For Your School, where we encourage the RCHS community to test drive a Ford and raise funds for the RCHS PTSA.
